Contacting New Castle County Code Enforcement
Many residents have raised issues about poor upkeep of properties in Gwinhurst at the last several civic association meetings. Councilman John Cartier explained that New Castle County Code Enforcement department is the place to report problems such as junk left at the curb, unmowed lawns, and other health and safety issues. He mentioned that in addition to calling (395-5555), you can also submit complaints through their website (http://www.nccde.org/250/Code-Enforcement). It is important to provide the address with any complaints. If you would prefer to be anonymous, Councilman Cartier will submit the complaint for you.
